Every AI rank tracker, compared honestly
The AI visibility category is consolidating fast. Adobe completed its US$1.9 billion acquisition of Semrush on 28 April 2026. Profound raised a US$96M Series C at a US$1 billion valuation and went enterprise-only. The big tools are being absorbed into enterprise stacks with per-seat, per-engine and per-prompt pricing.
Cluo went the other way: AI rankings, daily Google rankings and Search Console in one dashboard, flat AU$50 a month, 2-minute self-serve setup. Below is the full market as of June 2026. Real costs, not headline teaser prices. Where a competitor is genuinely better for your situation, we say so on the deep-dive pages.

Also out there: ZipTie (US$69/mo, AI-only), Am I On AI, Promptmonitor, Keyword.com AI tracking, Trakkr, and the enterprise-only set (Evertune, Brandlight, Bluefish, Gauge) - demo-gated, priced for big brands.
Why do "realistic costs" differ so much from advertised prices?
Most tools in this category advertise an entry price that excludes what you actually need. Otterly's US$29 plan caps you at 15 prompts and charges extra for Gemini. Ahrefs' AI indexes are US$199 per platform on top of a US$129 base plan - US$828 to US$1,148 a month all-in. Semrush's AI toolkit is per user, per month, on top of the base subscription. Cluo's AU$50 is the whole bill: every engine we track, daily Google rankings, Search Console suggestions, no seats, no credits, no add-ons.
Which AI rank trackers also track Google rankings?
Only a handful do both jobs: Cluo, Semrush, Ahrefs, SE Ranking and Nightwatch. Everything else is AI-only, which means a second subscription for traditional SEO. Of the five, only Cluo and SE Ranking bundle AI + Google + Search Console at a single SMB price - and SE Ranking refreshes AI data weekly while Cluo refreshes daily.
Which tools track Claude?
Fewer than you'd think. Ahrefs Brand Radar covers 7 engines but skips Claude. Otterly and Peec don't track it. Cluo and Profound do - and only one of those two will sell to a small business.

Frequently asked questions
What is the cheapest AI rank tracker in 2026?
Rankscale at EUR20/month is the cheapest entry point, but it is credit-gated and AI-only. Cluo at AU$50/month is the cheapest tool that combines AI engines, daily Google rank tracking and Search Console in one subscription.
What changed when Adobe bought Semrush?
Adobe completed the US$1.9 billion acquisition on 28 April 2026. Semrush continues to operate, but it is now part of an enterprise software stack, with bundling and pricing decisions made at Adobe scale.
Do I need separate tools for AI visibility and SEO?
With most tools, yes - Otterly, Peec, Profound, Rankscale and similar are AI-only. Cluo, Semrush, Ahrefs, SE Ranking and Nightwatch cover both; only Cluo does it at a flat AU$50.
How often should AI rankings update?
Daily. AI answers shift constantly as models update. Several tools refresh weekly (SE Ranking, Hall's free tier), which can hide a visibility drop for days. Cluo refreshes daily.
Can agencies white-label any of these?
Yes - Cluo offers white-label portals for agencies, Otterly has Looker Studio white-label reporting, and Geneo leads with white-label. Cluo's agency portals carry the agency's own branding and domain.
